New antennas
We have just finished the planning of two new antenna projects. The initial work is about to begin medio august.
40 m: 3 element full size yagi
This antenna will be put up in a 30 m tower on a hill top behind the club station. The horizon seen from this location will be very low, and the sea will be visible in most directions. Will come up sept/oct 2008. ZX-Yagi weighing 140 kg, rotated with Prosistel PST-61D big boy rotator.
Most of the work done cleaning the area for big pine trees, but some work needing to be done with the chainsaw. As soon as the area is ready for it we can start assembly this monster yagi. Assembly area for tower pretty much ready now. Need to mount the trust bearing, and the rotator into the top section. Assembly of the tower itself is pretty easy – I hope

80 m: 4-square array
This array will be located in the flat, moist area behind the club station. Thus the 4 quarter wave elements with elevated radials will perform excellently. Not before 2009 season.
